Daniel Moser

Born in 1983 in Neuenbürg (Baden)

(English version below)

Daniel Moser suffers from severe visual impairment. This makes his imagination all the stronger, which he feeds from printed and electronic media, which he can view in peace - in contrast to reality rushing by. These images, which he archives in his memory, complete the small part of reality that he can perceive. And so his work is always an interpretation and assembly of multiple perceptions.

In his work he deals a lot with city landscapes, their architecture and social space. Every now and then speech bubbles appear with comments from his protagonists and there is always a copyright notice somewhere. He is proud of his pictures and likes to show them off, including on his own website on the Internet.

His pictures were part of the projects “Approaches” of the Faculty of Education at FAU Erlangen Nuremberg, and “Human Rights” of the bfw Nuremberg, both documented in Nuremberg, 2014. His works were selected by the jury of the Outsider Art Fair in 2019 and exhibited in Paris.

His works have also been on show in Finland, in 2020 at the Art Museum Oulu and in 2021 at the Art Museum Hämeenlinna. In 2023 he represented IDYLLEREI at the Outsider Art Fair in New York.

Daniel Moser suffers from severe visual impairment. All the stronger is his imagination, which he nourishes from printed and electronic media that he can think about with time - in contrast to the reality that rushes by. These images, which he archives in his memory, complete the small section of reality that he can perceive. And so his work is always an interpretation and montage of several perceptions.

In his work he deals a lot with urban landscapes, their architecture and social space. Sometimes speech bubbles with comments from his protagonists appear and there is always a copyright notice somewhere. He is proud of his pictures, likes to show them off, even on his own website on the Internet.

His pictures were part of the projects "Approaches" of the Faculty of Education of FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, and "Human Rights" of bfw Nuremberg, both documented in Nuremberg, 2014. His works were selected by the jury of the Outsider Art Fair in 2019 and exhibited in Paris.

His work has also been on display in Finland, at the Oulu Art Museum in 2020 and the Hämeenlinna Art Museum in 2021. In 2023 he was chosen to represent the IDYLLEREI studio at the Outsider Art Fair in New York.
